About The Work

Whether you are a professional athlete or have a desk job, your performance and wellbeing depend on you feeling and functioning well. You only have one body. Learning to care for it is part of functioning at your best, taking responsibility for your wellbeing, healing your pain and thriving in life.

These one-on-one sessions are educational and therapeutic. Together we create a plan that addresses your pain points, injuries, and goals. The sessions then combine hands-on healing work done on a bodywork table and movement sequences done on a yoga mat. Each session helps you let go of tension, release stress, gain strength and flexibility, become more body-aware, and improve your posture.

The session is less about me ‘fixing’ you and more about us learning together how to help you heal, take care of your body and function at your best. This work is for anyone who wants to learn more about their body, improve posture, gain strength and flexibility and address back pain, neck and shoulder pain, or overcome chronic body issues.

  • Hellerwork

Hellerwork is a system of healing the body while educating people about the relationship between their posture and their pain. Each session uses slow, deep, sustained pressure to release myofascial tension points in the body and movement education to help people maintain the changes they get from the hands on work.

  • Yoga

I guide clients through a short series yoga poses as a way to help prepare the body for the work on the table and to provide easy to follow routines people can use in their daily life. These short routines help people maintain the changes gained during the sessions.
